Just say no to O T K

I thought I was a really big fan of the Over-The-Knee boots because they're simply all the rage this season.  However, the pairs that I have tried on were pretty miserable looking.  They were either slouchy in the wrong place or just plain cheap looking.  I think that maybe the OTK boot should be left on the runway ...or a pirate ship. 

Yet I cannot stifle the glimmer of hope in my little heart, that there's a pair out there for me.

Perhaps these Dolce Vita Eve's will fit nicely.  They seem pretty simple, sleek, and there's no odd details and embellishment on them.  I'm just concerned about fit because boots that dont fit like a glove are gross.  Maybe I'll stop by Bloomies and try these on.  It's $295 - not bad but I'll have to see it in person to judge the quality.  The're even cuter in black.
