Next door hidden gem

Due to unreliable public transportation, I had no choice but to take another train and do a bit of walking to get home.  I was tired, but not grumpy so I took my time and enjoyed the scenic route (hell it's not raining for once).  As I approached my building, I saw that the nearby clothing store was open, Velvet Ribbon.  I know that this store has been here, yet I have never once gone in.  I think it's because of the ambiguous window displays.  I had always leaned towards the belief that it was for the older demographic here in the neighborhood (it is a considerably high percentage)..

I was pleasantly surprised to to find a unique and and adorable assortment of costume jewelry and very avant-garde clothing.  Some of the brands they carry are wearable for the average femme.  The Tulle wool coats were fitted and reasonable.  I also saw a Yumi Kim bright blue and white flower blouse that I would have bought if it weren't already september.  All I know is that I'll be keeping tabs on this hidden gem. I'm so glad it's so close.  I can have my fix whenever I want!!!!!!
