Chanel Accessories *Droooooooool

Costume jewelry is a hit this year and I've been happy/overwhelmed by all the variety.  I really like different kinds of metal (dark/shiny/antique) mixed with rope and other natural materials,all melded together into a spectacular statement piece.  O, and PEARLS.  I love pearls.  Well it's fitting because it's my birth stone.  But I wouldn't consider pearls as stones for some reason.  Maybe they are.  I should look it up and stop rambling.

How come they don't have more jewelry in there?      It's not enough selection and it just doesn't make sense because their profit margin is very very high on this type of stuff.  I mean costume jewelry is inexpensive to begin with and these items are the least expensive things you could buy.  Earrings like these start around $200.

It can get expensive however.  When I was in the store I asked the woman about the super long pearl necklace (like the one Rihanna wears and she doubles it up) and that was something in the neighborhood of $1500 and there are plenty more different and elaborate versions that cost more than that of course.

I'd love to wear the earrings and bangle together.

  Aw heck just put on the ring too and go all out.

O yes and I know LV always deserves it's own post, but it makes sense to add this because I was even more excited by their jewelry and it's a luxury brand comparable to Chanel, excepet it's more fun and whimsical.
