Louis Vuitton Update*

Work has been so demanding lately, so why shouldn't I take a break now and then to indulge myself??  It's necessary to save my sanity.  Hence, I go to my place of serenity and peace, a place where everything is beautiful and safe --- I browse the shoes and handbags section.The saleswoman at the LV inside Saks was so friendly and informative today.  I absolutely love this ad.  Lara Stone has that odd beauty to her that draws you in like a magnet, as do the bag and shoes as well.  Anyways, I played with the Artsy MM $1,400 today.  It's really different for LV as it was soft and slouchy, but it was too floppy in my opinion.  It's supposed to be that way I guess.  There's microfiber interior rather than the canvas, but that doesnt hold up enough for me.  It seems surprisingly safe even though it doesn't have any closure on the top.  Maybe because it was so big.  The GM must be monstrous.  Anyways, the handle is very sturdy and it comes with a leather/gold bag charm.  I like that they give you something extra, but feel that it's merely a clever ploy to get me hooked on charms.

They're going to get a shipment of the sunset in the pearl pink color, but I am pretty sure I saw this already in the stand-alone store today.





Maybe I played with Barbie too much as a kid, but I want every Vernis item that comes in the pink, or Rose FLoretin.  And if somehow, someway by an act from a higher power, I do collect all of them, then I want all their green, or Vert Impression, stuff.

And my coworker picked out the hottest sunglasses ever for me - Thank you thank you thank you thank you.  Of course they're hot, they're $675, but I don't know if I'm comfortable with that.  I mean, sunglasses?  Maybe I just need to get used to the idea, but right now it sounds obscene.  However, I felt something that I have never felt before once I put these on.  I kid you not.  You put them on and tell me how you feel.  It's mind blowing and you'll agree. I feel supa dupa fly. It's my window.  I can't stand the rain. **

I really love the details but I prefer the black pair.  White sunglasses are too hard to pull off sometimes.
